The sudden and unexpected defacement attack to the official webpage of a popular modern military game Arma 2, as previously reported on AAN, continues. Despite attempts by security and software experts which initially removed the digital attack by an Iranian hacking group calling themselves "p3R51An 8lacK Hat5 8oy5" (p8h8). There has been a further incident in which the arma2.com website was targeted and had its contents replaced by digital imagery and text by p8h8 which seems to identify some kind of hidden cache in a real world location.
Following the information provided by the hackers, the community at Bohemia Interactive's forum has informed us that a cache was indeed found buried in the Czech Republic on the exact spot identified in the hacker’s photographs. The cache was collected by a local treasure hunter and we bring pictures of the cache and its content link. The uncovered map seems to be a sheet from a military manual identifying some kind of war maneuvers across parts of Europe. Early indications from experts we’ve consulted say that the map does indeed appear to be authentic.
